Step-by-step: enabling live streaming on your channel, creating a shared YouTube channel for your group and removing the app's access to your Google Account.
Several people can stream to one channel and watch each other. Set up a YouTube Brand Account channel for the group and add its members as Managers (Google Account → Brand Accounts → Manage permissions). Each member signs in to the app with their own Google account and chooses the group channel on the “Choose your account or a brand account” screen.
Please add members on myaccount.google.com/brandaccounts, not through “Permissions” in YouTube Studio — people invited through YouTube Studio cannot use the channel from apps like this one.
On your YouTube channel — the app stores nothing on the phone and has no servers of its own. Open YouTube Studio to see, edit or download any recording.
New streams are unlisted: only people with the link (or with access to the channel) can watch them, and they never appear in search or recommendations. You can choose private or public when scheduling a stream.
Tap it. The first time, the app asks whether to open streams in its built-in browser or in the YouTube app; you can change this choice later in Settings. Live video on YouTube runs with a delay of about 10–30 seconds — that is normal.
The app starts a stream only on the phone of the person who created it, and only while it is open or after that person taps the “Time to go live” notification. Make sure notifications are allowed for Emdalex Streams in iOS Settings and that the phone is not in Low Power Mode.
Live streaming must be enabled on the channel: open YouTube Studio → Go live once; YouTube may ask to verify a phone number and then enables streaming within 24 hours. If sign-in keeps failing, sign out from the app’s side menu and sign in again.
Yes. Deleting a stream removes the broadcast, its recording and its stream key from YouTube. This cannot be undone.
Sign out in the side menu, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
The app collects no data. See the Privacy Policy.
